The Arduino Uno SMD is a microcontroller board built around the ATmega328P. It features 14 digital input/output pins (including 6 that can function as PWM outputs), 6 analog input pins, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB interface, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It includes everything required to operate the microcontroller—just connect it to a computer using a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to begin.
The term “SMD” refers to a surface-mount device, meaning the ATmega328P microcontroller is mounted and soldered directly onto the board.
