Installation Guidelines
Connect battery groups strictly according to the voltage sequence: 0V → 4.2V → 8.4V → 12.6V.
Never intentionally short-circuit the protection board.
Ensure all battery groups have similar voltage levels before connecting them in series.
For optimal performance, charge each battery group individually if voltage differences exist.
When used with brushed DC motors, connect a non-polar capacitor (10µF–100µF, minimum 25V rating) across the motor terminals to suppress voltage spikes and protect the MOSFETs.
Important Notes
Standard low-drain 18650 cells may not be suitable for powering high-current tools such as drills.
For drill applications, use high-discharge-rate battery cells (15C–20C recommended).
Ensure adequate ventilation and cooling when operating near maximum current ratings.
Monitor battery condition regularly and replace weak cells to maintain balanced pack performance.
